Comment: I don't usually review things, but had to take the time to review this. I got this just in time for Christmas. Both my blender and food processor bit the dust in December. This little product handled the jobs of both of them with extra functionality to spare. It blends like a champ! Better than a lot of blenders I've owned when doing smoothies or frozen berries, etc. It also does a great job of working like a food processor. Easy to clean, easy to use, flexible. Probably going to be the most used item in my kitchen. I used to have a Pampered Chef Food Chopper as well. This one item replaces all three, easily.

Comment: I just replaced my 10-year old Braun hand mixer with the Kitchen Aid Immersion Blender. WOW - all these years I had no idea what I was missing! The Kitchen Aid is a MUCH higher quality. It has a more powerful, variable-speed motor, a detachable and stainless (i.e. stain-proof)stick, a long, durable cord, and not to mention the great chopper and whisk attachments.
This HIGH QUALITY blender is well worth the money.

Comment: Finally I have a gadget that I can pull out, hook up and plug in in about 15 seconds. I find myself using this for EVERYTHING from whizzing up home made dressings, dips, sauces, chopping vegetables, making salsas, butters, and spreads. I LOVE THIS THING! It's powerful, easy to clean and easy to handle. I find myself pulling out my full size food processor very rarely anymore and only for the big jobs. This is a wonderful kitchen tool, with power and convenient way to store in it's hang up bag. It's my right hand now in the kitchen.
